How to play
This game is built screen-reader-first. Every interactive element is reachable with the keyboard, every narration region is a live region, and every page uses proper headings and landmarks so you can navigate with your preferred tool.
The game
You explore rooms, examine objects, talk to characters, and collect clues. Each episode auto-saves per language — leave whenever and pick up where you left off. When you have enough clues, confront a suspect to reach one of several endings.
Keyboard navigation
- Tab moves focus forward through actions; Shift+Tab moves it back.
- Press Enter or Space to activate the focused button or link.
- In Settings, use Arrow keys to move between radio options within a group.
- A yellow outline always marks the currently focused element.
- Skip links appear at the top of game pages — press Tab from the very start of the page to reveal them.
- Exit to Menu is always available at the bottom of a case, even in Screen Reader mode.
VoiceOver (macOS)
- Toggle VoiceOver with Command+F5.
- VO is the modifier: hold Control+Option together with another key.
- Read all from here: VO+A. Read next item: VO+Right Arrow. Read previous: VO+Left Arrow.
- Open the Rotor with VO+U, then use Left/Right Arrows to switch between Headings, Landmarks, Form Controls, or Links, and Up/Down to jump.
- Activate a button or link with VO+Space.
- New narration is announced automatically through a polite live region — no action needed on your side.
NVDA (Windows)
- Start NVDA with Control+Alt+N.
- Insert is the NVDA modifier (or CapsLock if you configured it that way).
- Read all: NVDA+Down Arrow. Next line: Down Arrow. Previous line: Up Arrow.
- Jump by structure in Browse Mode: H for next heading, D for next landmark, F for next form field, K for next link.
- Activate a control with Enter. For form controls you may need to enter Focus Mode (NVDA+Space).
- New narration is announced automatically through a polite live region — no action needed on your side.
